The Women Welfare Centre is a completed community building for rural women's empowerment at Malkapur, Maharashtra, for the Malkapur Nagar Panchayat, designed for reduced maintenance. Photographs show a single-storey red-brick complex with colonnaded verandahs, red-oxide floors and a landscaped internal courtyard of flowering beds, set against the surrounding hills.
